Priory Woods School & Arts College A Special Place to Learn

G1

This half term all of the students have enjoyed learning about World War Two, in particular exploring what life was like for children during the war.  The students have used their knowledge from history lessons to inform their writing in English lessons where they have written informal letters home in the voice of an evacuee. Many of the students have started their work experience placements around school and are doing very well with their new responsibilities.

Next half term, we will be learning about the destructive powers of nature, from volcanoes and earthquakes to tsunamis and tornadoes. Through discussion and practical tasks, students will learn about how and why these natural phenomena occur, and the ways in which they affect people and the environment.
