What an amazing young inspirational man you are Kian, words cant describe today watching you complete these 8 miles.

Even a set back of your chain snapping early in your journey wasn't going to stop you completing these 8 miles, your dad Simon simply gritted his teeth and pushed you the remaining 6.5 miles.

It was really special to watch you both, the support around your journey was incredible. People cheering, beeping, scooter escort at Stewart's park, the flashing lights of the police, ambulance and fire brigade.

You took it all in your stride and even gave us a little dance at the end to "pig bag"

Oblivious to everything going on around him Kian has trained and focused for today.

We are so proud of you Kian & to top it all off you raised an incredible £2000!! 🎉🎉

You wanted to help families on Teesside and we can assure you every £ of what you raised will help families right here on Teesside. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💙

Thank you to the scooter riders today who emptied their pockets, plus the amazing people on the route donating in Kian's bucket. A total of £275 was donated in cash today 👏👏
